This a very easy project, and with the popularity of these little guys,
they are in great demand!

Materials Needed
Felt, for each hat, 3 x 12 inch squares. Matching coloured thread.

Pattern

The shapes above are the same for each Hat,
only use the corresponding colour of Felt.
The only difference is in the Head furniture.
For TinkiWinki, La La and Po cut a piece of felt (the correct colour) 12 inches by 4 inches,
and for Dipsi a piece 6 inches by 4 inches.

To begin, cut out all the pieces required.

The Four petal shaped pieces make up the crown of the Hat.

Place two pieces together and sew down one long edge from the point to the bottom.

Place the other two pieces the same shape together, and sew in the same way.

Put these to one side. Take the piece of felt that is for the Head furniture ,
and roll tightly, from the long edge, into a long pencil shape,
pin then sew securely along the edge to keep in a nice round shape (just like a Pencil).

Now take the pieces you have sewn together and place these two pieces together,
put one end of your pencil shaped piece right on the crossover of the seam
at the center of the crown of the Hat, and being careful to sew together inside out
(with sewn seams showing), sew from one bottom edge right up and over the crown of the hat.

Make sure you sew very securely through the pencil shaped piece
of felt at the centre seam. When finished put this to one side.

Now take two of the smaller rectangle shaped pieces
and sew them together along their short sides.

Do the same with the second pair.

Now open both up, and place them together.

Sew these together , again, along the short sides,this gives you a band of felt 5 inches in width,
by approx, 24 inches in circumference. (this is the size,circumference, of your hat.)

Take this band and fold in half, with right sides showing, to give you a band 2.5 inches in width.
Take the body of the hat and with wrong side showing, slide the folded band over from the crown,
down towards the brim edges.

Line up the seams of the main body with the seams of the folded band and pin together.
Securely sew around the circumference. If you now hold the head furniture in one hand,
and pull the body of the hat with the other it will open up into the shape of the hat.
All you must do now is to fold back the band to just before the seam,
and tack into position at the sides , front and back.
